Your Wedding at the Kendleshire.
Every Wedding at the Kendleshire is planned meticulously, prepared for with care and hosted professionally.
From your first enquiry you will be in contact with our dedicated Weddings Coordinator and the Weddings Team are on hand for any query in the lead up to your big day.
On arrival to the Kendleshire your party will enjoy a warm and friendly welcome, from which typically they will head to the Ceremony Room to await your arrival. The room will be prepared to your specification and a member of the Weddings staff will direct your choice of music throughout. You may also choose to commission a live musician to accompany your ceremony. In line with marital tradition the Bridal couple are able to be kept in separate parts of the venue until the appropriate time, meeting with the attending Registrar prior to the ceremony.
Following the exchange of vows the newly married couple lead their party through to the Garden Room & Wedding Garden for reception drinks, photograph opportunities and a perfect, informal opportunity to catch up. In summer months, when ground conditions permit, we offer couples the opportunity to be whisked away by chauffeur-driven golf buggy with their official photographer to a picturesque location in the grounds - both for the stunning photo opportunities awaiting and for the welcome 'quiet time' following the big build-up to the day.
Your first meal as a married couple, with all of your family and friends, is typically taken in the Badminton Suite. The room is laid with ivory linen, polished glass and silverware, and all of the flourishing touches you have added such as floral decorations, and a printed table plan and menu. For the duration of your day a member of staff will act as your announcer and toast master, giving you the opportunity to make those all-important post-dinner speeches.
Once the Wedding Breakfast has finished guests can make use of the Badminton Suite's bar or make their way to the Wedding Garden whilst the room is transformed into the venue for your evening celebrations. Meanwhile the bridal couple have the welcome retreat of the Lakeside Suite to relax and unwind, and prepare for partying the night away.
