Society Days.

The Kendleshire is the ultimate in golf day venues, offering the eager player up to 27 challenging but picturesque holes of golf, good food and the attention to detail that turns a good event into a great one. The amount of repeat visits is testament to the Kendleshire Experience each and every group receives.

On arrival you will be greeted by a warm mug of coffee or tea and our Course Marshal, who will welcome your group to the course and organise any Nearest the Pin, Longest Drive or even Straightest Drive competitions that you may require. He will confirm with you the details of your day. We prefer you to play in three balls and to use the Stableford points system or some form of team golf. To assist with speed of play we cannot allow medal play.

Although handicap certificates are not compulsory the Marshal will expect your last group to complete their round in four hours fifteen minutes, which means that your players must be regular golfers.

Buggies and hire trolleys (both manual and electric) are available throughout the year, with buggies being restricted to buggy paths during wet weather.

We are a Soft Spike Golf Course which means that you cannot play the course if you wear normal metal spikes. The Pro Shop will happily change your spikes for you, but  please leave at least 30 minutes before your tee time. The Shop also stocks a wide range of golf shoes for sale.

As the organiser we require you to choose one menu selection for your entire party (excluding any special dietary requirements, which we can cater for on request). We will always do our best to ensure you eat on your own as a group.

Buggies

We operate a large buggy fleet in Ryder Cup colours, red & blue, most of which are fitted with the latest in GPS guidance technology. We are able to offer a discounted hire rate to societies of just £20.00 for 18 holes.

.

Buggies are allowed on the Hollows & Ruffet Courses all year round, being restricted to the buggypath during inclement weather. We also have available a 'SuperBuggy' with an all-weather enclosure, available at £30 per round.

.

They are allowed on the Badminton Course normally between April and November, where ground conditions allow.

.

Although we have large fleet of buggies, to avoid disappointment we would recommend booking in advance.
