Junior Golf

Welcome to the Junior Academy.

At the Kendleshire we have a dedicated team of golf professionals who love nothing better than watching a beginner, completely fresh to the game, progress through the various aspects, achieve their first handicap and then set about trying to bring it down. And there's no better time to start than when you're young.

The Kendleshire has always been host to a thriving junior section and the likes of Ollie Glaze and Chris Lloyd have made the most of our coaching staff and practice facilities.

To encourage the complete beginner junior to come along and see if golf is the game for them we run weekly sessions on the driving range. Designed to be fun and easy-going, these involve short game, long game, woods, putting and even small competitions on our short Academy course.

There is no need to book, simply "roll up", meet with one of the professionals taking the session and you're away. All equipment is provided. Please call the Pro Shop on 0117 956 7000 for more information.

Currently the sessions are as follows:

Saturdays ~ 10am - 11am, £5 per person

Sundays ~ 10am - 11am, £5 per person (more suited to younger children)

The Golf Foundation Passport.

One of the pro's will be running a new Golf Passport class on Saturday mornings, from 10am-11am.

There is limited space availability so you will need to book. Payment should be made in advance to confirm your child's place
