Golf is firmly at the heart of the Kendleshire Experience, and with 27 memorable championship holes spread over nearly 260 acres of the stunning Frome valley, it is no wonder.

The Hollows and Ruffet Courses were opened in 1997 to much critical acclaim. Designed by Adrian Stiff they both feature a healthy amount of water, such as the "Island Green" 11th hole with Adrian's trademark sleeper-banks, and provide a challenge to many a good scorecard. The Peter McEvoy-designed Badminton Course opened in 2001, built to compliment its sister courses whilst adding an extra degree of challenge with its undulating greens. Our greens are well known for their quality and accuracy, built to USGA standards and tended to by an elite team of greenstaff.

The Kendleshire is a regional centre of excellence for practicing, our extensive facilities often being used by the county and national teams, whilst the dedicated team of Professional staff between them cover the broad range of golfing specialisms.
